A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Arwani area of Bjbehera in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Friday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces including 9 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the Arwani area.
Locals said that a heavy contingent of Forces have reached the area and are conducting a search operation in the area.
The search operation was going on when this report was filed.
