The casual laborers of the Wildlife Department held a protest against authorities in Bijbehara demanding the release of their pending wages besides regularization.
The protesters shouted slogans of ‘We want justice, bring us justice’ at the protest.
Wildlife Casual laborer Association’s Vice President, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat speaking to The Kashmiriyat expressed their collective anguish said that they have been sitting there in protest overnight but to their disappointment, nobody has paid attention to their grievances. He also expressed concern over the mishandling of their wages by the Wildlife Warden and asked the authorities to take action.
Another protester appealing to the District Administration said that they will not stop protesting. “ I will set myself on fire or kill myself somehow if the authorities do not listen to our problems.
