The frequent shutdowns and restrictions have caused a tremendous loss to the business fraternity in Kashmir, as the valley has been on the edge since decades.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the markets in Pulwama town had opened after a span of eight days post the killing of ten people in the Sirnoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. "After eight days of continuous shutdown against the Pulwama Killings, We did not open our shops for even five minutes and the news of an encounter in Tral reached to us, so we shut down our shops yet again," Adil Rashid, a trader from Pulwama told The Kashmiriyat.
