The Jammu Kashmir Samagra Shiksha Friday asked all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) to open bank accounts of all eligible students wherein it will transfer funds to the students under RTE act. Project Director Samagra Shiksha, Rakesh Magotra in a communiqué to the CEOs said that it will transfer the funds through DBT mode into the accounts of students from first primary to 8th class of government schools for free uniforms under Samagra Shiksha for the year 2024-25. The RTE Act mandates free and compulsory education for all children in government schools. In a post on X, School Education Department, also said that no such book or content has been developed by the NCERT. “There is some objectionable content page from a book being circulated on social media.
