Kashmir Colleges Postpone Reopening to February 21

February 17 Pertaining to wet weather, the Government of Jammu Kashmir has postponed the reopening of Colleges to February 21. The Divisional Commissioner Baseer Ahmad Khan said all colleges across the Kashmir division scheduled to reopen tomorrow after winter vacations will now reopen on Thursday February 21. Ganderbal Girl Inspired by Islam secures First Position in Commerce Stream

January 08 Rayees Shah A girl from Tulmula area of Ganderbal got 1st position in commerce stream in the recently announced 12th class examination, Zakia Bint Zia scored 489 marks out of 500 and surprised one and all. Parents of the Zakia while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said, “She is hard working girl. She defied all odds and got 1st position in facility of commerce in recently 12 class exams .We are proud of her.” Zaika was a student of green valley higher secondary school Illahibagh srinagar and a resident of Tulmulla Ganderbal.
