The Central board of School Education has released class 12 results on its official website. Students can check their result from the board's official result portal, 'cbseresults.nic.in'. The board has followed its revised assessment scheme to prepare CBSE results this year. The board had to revise its assessment scheme after examinations for a few papers were cancelled. The central board of school education (CBSE) has dropped the once Key chapters like Food Security in India, Secularism, Democratic Rights, Federalism and Citizenship from school courses to reduce the burden on students amid the coronavirus crisis, NDTV reported. End-of-term exams in colleges and educational institutions pending since the month of March due to the lockdown can now be held, maintaining all safety measures, the Union Home Ministry has said on Monday. NDTV Reported, that the ministry has written to the Higher Education Secretary, permitting the long pending exams. The final term examinations are to be compulsorily conducted as per the UGC Guidelines and academic calendar for the Universities and as per the Standard Operating Procedure approved by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the letter said. So far, several states in India, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Haryana cancelled all higher education exams and decided to promote students on the basis of previous performances.

The Central Board of School Education (CBSE)  in India has said that exams scheduled from July 1 to July 15 stand cancelled, amid the ongoing global pandemic. The board said that it will conduct exams when the condition allows/ is conducive. The Supreme Court earlier asked the CBSE if it will give students the option to appear for the exams later or will declare result on the basis of internal assessment Marks. The Board said that Class 12 students will be given a choice to opt out of exam. "Students who choose not to appear for remaining papers will be assessed on the basis of last 3 exams," the board said.
