Winter Vacations Likely to Be Extended Till March 05 in Kashmir valley

February 21 The school education department has decided to extend the winter vacation for all classes upto March 05. In this regard, a proposal has been submitted by director school education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo to the administrative department. “The classwork in high end higher secondary classes was supposed to resume from 25th of this month but we have sought extension of winter vacation for all classes from primary to higher secondary classes up to March 05,” the outgoing DSEK said. He said the formal order for the extension in winter vacation will be issued today later. He said the government has agreed to extend the winter vacations for all classes.

Kashmir Colleges Extend Winter Vacation Yet Again

February 20 In view of the inclement weather conditions, the Divisional administration in Kashmir has ordered further extension in winter vacations in colleges across the division. Divisional Commissioner Baseer Ahmad Khan said all colleges across the Kashmir division scheduled to reopen tomorrow after winter vacations will now reopen on Saturday February 23. He said the decision has been taken in view of the inclement weather conditions prevalent in the division.

Kashmir Colleges Postpone Reopening to February 21

February 17 Pertaining to wet weather, the Government of Jammu Kashmir has postponed the reopening of Colleges to February 21. IUST Suspends Classwork for Friday, Mobile Internet Suspended in Pulwama in wake of Militant Killing

December 28 Authorities on Friday suspended all the exams and class work at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) for “precautionary measures”. A spokesman of the varsity said that classwork has been suspended have been suspended today.
