23-year-old youth from Veeri area of south Kashmir's Bijbehara who had gone missing from his home in the August last year has been killed in an encounter in the Rainawari area of central Kashmir's Srinagar district. Rayees, as per the Police had joined the militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba and was accused in to FIRs including a case of Improvised Explosive Device’ (IED) attack on security forces in Anantnag, whihc was lodged against him in the same month in which he went missing.
