The Jammu Kashmir administration has ordered re-construction of security pickets across Kashmir valley, especially in Srinagar city, where targeted civilian killings have increased since October, The Times of India reported. The order came on Thursday, when two encounters broke out in the valley at separate locations. Shabir Khan Hours after the killing of two non-locals in the Laram Ganjipora area of South Kashmir, the administration swung into action and shifted non-locals to safer destinations in several parts of Kashmir valley on Sunday night. The Journalists detained from Anantnag district remained in custody after being detained during the last few days from their homes in the South Kashmir district. Suhail Dar, a freelance journalist from the Batengoo area of Anantnag was detained on October 08 and has remained in custody on the eighth consecutive day, his family said while talking to The Kashmiriyat.
