The Tangmarg working Journalist association has strongly condemned the assault on photo Journalist Sajad Hameed while he was performing his duty in Kunzer town of North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Whereas Journailst Association protested against the Tehsildar Kunzer at Tangmarg demanding strict action against Tehsildar. Popular Film makers, Amit Madhesiya and Shirley Abraham alumni of Jamia Milia Islamia, Nishtha Jain, which has recently hit the news for being targeted by the Delhi Police, have been invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) in USA to judge the Oscars. All the three alumni – Nishtha Jain, Shirley Abraham and Amit Madheshiya are postgraduates from Jamia’s AJK Mass Communication Research Centre.
