Mohammad Saleem, 50, a resident of Shadi Ki Madaiyan village in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, consumed poison with his two children after learning that their home would be demolished by the authorities. Mohammad Saleem and his daughter perished on Friday after ingesting poison with his two kids, but his son survived the suicide attempt. The ages of Saleem's kids were six and eight. Four people were killed in a firing incident inside Bathinda Military Station in the early hours of Wednesday, NDTV reported. "Firing incident reported in the early hours of the morning around 0435h inside Bathinda Military Station. Station Quick Reaction Teams were activated. Area was cordoned off and sealed. Search operations, are in progress. Four Fatal casualties reported. Further details being ascertained," the Army said in its statement. A Muslim youth was assaulted on suspicion of stealing in Chhaigoan Devi village, which is located in the jurisdiction of Chhaingoan Makhan police station in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
