BJP leader Vimal Bhadauria has been arrested for allegedly slapping ASP Etawah Prashant Kumar Prasad along with his aides during the poll for the post of block heads. More than 125 unidentified persons have also been booked for indulging in violence during the polls. An FIR has been registered at Barhpura police station on the instructions of senior officials. A medical student who arrived from Wuhan, China to her hometown in Thrissur, Kerala had tested positive for the virus, becoming the country’s first Covid-19 patient. As per reports, after almost one and a half year she has tested positive for the Covid-19, again. Dr K J Reena, Thrissur DMO said, “She is reinfected with COVID-19. Her RT-PCR is positive, the antigen is negative. She is asymptomatic.” She wanted to make an air trip to Delhi for study purposes and she underwent the Covid test for that, the medical authorities reported. A 40-year-old woman and her husband have lodged a complaint with the police at Kannur district in Kerala that she was tortured and raped by an unidentified gang at Palani in Tamil Nadu. The alleged incident happened on June 20, according to the Kerala police. The woman and her husband are from Tamil Nadu but were staying in Kannur district for job purposes. A joint team of the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) and Lucknow Police arrested two Militants of Al Qaeda from Lucknow on Sunday. The bodies of three boys were found in Kiccha river in Baheri locality of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday with injury marks on their bodies. They were missing since Tuesday.
