A Muslim man was assaulted by a group of men after he asked them to not urinate in public in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Reports said that a 34-year-old man named Ashraf Ali was killed by a group of three persons, he was first assaulted and then killed as the men ran their car over him. As per the report, Ali was the sole breadwinner to his family which consists of his 28-year-old wife and three minor daughters. "The men, who were allegedly drunk, ran their car over him when he was on a phone call with his landlord, Kuldip Kapoor, telling him about the attack. Reports said that Ayub Khan aged 50 died on Tuesday evening after he was tortured at Quila police station in Haryana’s Panipat district. Two "gangsters" from Punjab - Jaipal Bhullar and Jaspreet Jassi - were killed in an encounter with the STF of Kolkata Police at New Town on Wednesday, official sources said. A policeman was also injured in the shootout at the posh Shapoorji Housing Complex at New Town, the expanding township in the eastern part of this metropolis. The roof of a Madarsa in Bihar’s Banka district collapsed following a massive blast on Tuesday morning which also damaged nearby buildings. The Imam of the mosque adjacent to Madarsa building died while several injured as per media reports. The Madarsa is located under Nagar police station limits.
