Muslim Teenager Lynched in Delhi- Third in Less than a Month
In a continuation of aggression and violence against Muslims in India, A Muslim youth was beaten ruthlessly by a group of men in Delhi, hours after he succumbed to his injuries.
The Delhi Police said that a 20-year-old identified as Mohammed Sarfaraz was nabbed by a group of men, who took him to a factory and thrashed him with sticks.
The incident took place on Saturday night in Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar area.
On Sunday morning, Sarfaraz was found unconscious after which he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
"Sarfaraz’s brother went out for a walk near their house when the accused picked him up. The family came to know about the incident from their neighbours. He was thrashed on suspicion of theft," his brother told the police.
