45 -Year-Old Woman was Found Buried on the Bank of a River in Jharkhand

  On Monday, in Jharkhand, a 45 -year-old woman was found buried on the bank of a river in Pakur District. The body of the woman was chopped in pieces. The body was identified as Sona Marandi by the police. The woman was missing since February 24, and was recovered from the bank of Bansloi river near Rangatola, the area comes under Amrapara police station. The in charge of the police station, Manoj Kumar said that the villagers had informed the police after they noticed a severed leg on the bank of a river.   On Monday, the Madhya Pradesh Assembly passed the Freedom of Religion Bill, 2021 with a voice note, amid opposition from Congress and chants of Jai Shree Ram from the treasury benches. The bill is aimed to check religious conversions through marriage or any other fraudulent means in the state. Those people who will be convicted under the bill can be imprisoned for up to 10 years and a fine of Rs. 1 lacs will be charged.   A 15-year-old girl was raped by nine men for eight days at different places in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district. The girl after escaping reached her home on Friday after which a formal complaint was lodged. According to a report in the Mid day four accused persons, including two minors, have been arrested in connection with the case, the police confirmed.
