The defence and security establishment refused to give details about the proposal, saying it remains “highly confidential”. India ranked 94 among 107 nations in the Global Hunger Index 2020 and is in the serious hunger category with experts blaming poor implementation processes, lack of effective monitoring, siloed approach in tackling malnutrition and poor performance by large states behind the low ranking. Pak Open Fires in Jammu Kashmir’s Poonch, No Loss of Life

On Friday, Pakistan initiated heavy firing and shelling on Indian positions and forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Mankote sector of Poonch district, prompting India to retaliate in equal measure.
