Protests to Be Held At Delhi Against Pulwama Killings

December 19 A protest march has been organized in New Delhi's Jantar Mantar against the "gruesome" murder of seven civilians in Pulwama on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the march has been candle light vigil and protest demonstration has been organized by a group of Civil Society Organization including the People's Union for Civil Liberties, National Alliance of People's Movements. The March is scheduled to start in about 4:30 pm at the Delhi's Jantar Mantar and is expected to be attended by both Kashmiri and Non Kashmiri Participants. The Killing of seven civilians at the hands of Government Forces in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District has evoked widespread condemnation. (The Kashmiriyat)

Students of Aligarh University Protest Against Pulwama Killings

December 19 The students of Aligarh Muslim University held a protest demonstration at the university campus on Wednesday to protest the ongoing killing spree in Kashmir valley. A Student while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that scores of students under the banner of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union held gathered in the University to protest the civilian killings at the hands of government forces in Pulwama district. December 13 An eight-year-old Dalit girl, who had gone missing after she went to graze cattle, is suspected to have been strangled to death after being raped in a village in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district, police said Wednesday. The deceased, a Class III student, was missing since Tuesday night and her body was found in a mustard field in her village on Wednesday.
