February 27 India on Wednesday closed down the air space and the Srinagar airport after Pakistani Air force entered into the Indian Space. NIA Conducts Raids in South Kashmir, Frisks Houses of Active Militants

February 27 The National Investigation Agency of India on Wednesday raided the house of active Jaish-e-Muhammad militants in southern Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the sleuths of NIA in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday forces raided the house of Sajad Ahmed in Sangam's Marhama area who is believed to have provided vehicle for the deadly Pulwama attack. Sajad, however, went missing after the Pulwama attack and has joined Jaish e Muhammad. Pakistan Drone Shot Near Border, Claims Gujrat Police

February 26 The Gujarat Police on Tuesday claimed that a Pakistan drone was shot down near Gujarat border. The news comes hours after India launched strikes inside Pakistan Tuesday morning. A Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was on Tuesday shot down near the International Border in Kutch district of Gujarat, police sources said. Debris of the UAV was seen near Nanghatad village in Abdasa taluka of Kutch, they said. On hearing a loud sound around 6 am, villagers went to the spot and found the debris of the UAV, the sources said. February 25 As many as 157 people, mostly tea garden workers, have so far died in Assam hooch tragedy and more than 300 others are still undergoing treatment in hospitals in the affected districts of Golaghat and Jorhat while 22 people have been arrested in connection with the incident, officials said on Monday.
