Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed shot dead while being taken for medical in Prayagraj, news agency ANI reported. Asad, Atiq's son, was killed in an encounter on April 13 and was cremated today amid strict security. The shooting took occurred inside Prayagraj's Dhoomanganj Police Station. Four people were killed in a firing incident inside Bathinda Military Station in the early hours of Wednesday, NDTV reported. "Firing incident reported in the early hours of the morning around 0435h inside Bathinda Military Station. Station Quick Reaction Teams were activated. Area was cordoned off and sealed.
