The eyewitnesses of the murder of Atiq Ahmed, former MP and MLA have alleged that the shooters arrived in a police vehicle and they were travelling with press cards. In a video report of news Tak, that has gone viral on social media, an eyewitness can be heard saying, “They fired seven bullets, police didn’t do anything, after shooting both Atiq and Ashraf dead, they chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogans." Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed shot dead while being taken for medical in Prayagraj, news agency ANI reported.
