A 36 year old Sikh man, Taptejdeep Singh, was identified among the nine people murdered in yet another act of mass shooting in the US. The incident occurred in the city of San Jose. On Thursday, an employee of the rail yard in the heart of the Silicon Valley shot down 9 people and then killed himself. The news agency AP has stated that the shooter has been identified as Samuel Cassidy (57 years old). Taptejdeep Singh was a light rail operator at the Valley Transportation Authority for the past 9 years. He was one of the first victims to be publicly identified by his family, who said that it was his second day of work after a vacation. As per latest news reports emerging from the Middle East, Saudi Arabia had temporarily closed its airspace to Israeli flights for unknown reasons. On Tuesday, an Israel Airline flight got delayed for 5 hours at the Ben Gurion Airport before departing for Dubai. The flight was supposed to take off at 9 am local time, but it was delayed because Saudi Arabia refused to grant the necessary permits. Although, an El Al flight had taken off for Dubai, the same afternoon with permission to fly through Saudi airspace.
