A source briefed on the matter told Reuters the visas had temporarily stopped being issued to Afghans, Pakistanis and citizens of several other countries over security concerns, but did not provide details of those concerns. The agencies investigated the suspicious activities of 37 people as part of the heightened security measures following recent strikes in Europe, the government said on Tuesday. More than 10 rockets have been fired on Kabul city. As per the update by Tolo News, no casualties have been reported yet. The rockets landed in various parts of Kabul a few minutes after two explosions happened in Chehel Sutoon and Arzaan Qeemat areas. Earlier, the Taliban has staged attacks in at least 50 districts across 16 Afghan provinces following the signing of the peace deal with the US in February and most of these took place in the last two months after negotiations began in Qatar on September 12. The Border Security Force (BSF) has said that two drones were seen coming from the direction of Pakistan which later crossed the International Border in the Samba sector of Jammu Kashmir. The drones were spotted at nearly 6 pm, following which the BSF troops fired upon them, while the jawans kept a strict vigil. The first Pakistan drone (UAV), Indian BSF said, was seen flying inside (500 to 700 meters from the border) India's air space near Border Outpost (BOP) Chak Faqira. Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, has been sentenced to 10 years in jail in two terror cases by a court in Pakistan, news agency PTI reported. This was not the first time that Hafiz Saeed, chief of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, a front organisation for the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was sentenced in a terror case by a Pakistani court. In February, Hafiz Saeed and some of his aides were convicted and sentenced to 11 years in jail in a terror-financing case.
