August 14 The President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan announced Aug. 14 that Turkey would boycott electronic products from the United States which has imposed sanctions and raised tariffs against Ankara in a dispute about the detention of a U.S. pastor. Not Mexicans or Africans, now Indians are one of the fastest growing illegal immigrants to the US. According to a Fox News Report, Indians who are unable to obtain H1B visas, have started to enter the country illegally via the US-Mexico Border, that too in hordes. In 2015, the US officials apprehended six immigrants from India trying to cross into the U.S from Mexico. Imran Khan Wants Resumption of Talks with India Over Kashmir

August 12 Imran Khan, expected to be sworn in as Pakistan’s new premier next week has called for a resumption of the dialogue with India on all outstanding issues, including Kashmir. Imran made the remarks during a meeting in Islamabad with Indian envoy Ajay Bisaria, who congratulated the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman on his electoral success. A PTI spokesman said Khan had called for the resumption of bilateral talks. “He (Imran Khan) said if we won’t talk, how will we resolve issues. One incident of terrorism should not hamper talks,” Chaudhry said. Meanwhile Imran Khan expressed concern over human rights violations in Kashmir during the 30-minute meeting.

29 Children among 50 Killed in Saudi Air Strikes on Yemen

August 11 Dozens of children, many younger than 15, were killed in a Saudi-led coalition airstrike that hit a school bus in northern Yemen on Thursday, according to reports. The children were on a field trip when their bus was struck at a market, the first stop of the day; 50 were killed and 77 injured. Most of the children were inside the bus when the airstrike hit, reports said. The International Committee for the Red Cross said a hospital it supports in Saada had received 29 bodies of "mainly children" younger than 15, and 40 injured, including 30 children.

51 Taliban Militants Killed in Army Operations

August 05 At least 51 Taliban insurgents were killed and six were injured during an ongoing operation by Afghan forces in eastern Kunar province, Khaama Press reported. The sixth phase of Qahr Silab-2 operation kicked off on Friday night and is currently being conducted with the help of the artillery and close air support, a statement by the Silab Corps said. The statement elaborated that 51 Taliban militants including three of their key leaders were killed and at least six others sustained critical injuries. July 31 Two days after being shifted from jail, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif is recuperating at PIMS hospital, according to Geo News on Tuesday. The doctors, however, rejected reports about former prime minister being sent back to the jail as incorrect.
