October 27 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Ghat area of Redwani South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Early a morning on Saturday, the forces including 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Redwani area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Kulgam locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. October 27 A Massive Cordon and Search has been launched in Ghat area of Redwani in South Kashmir's Kulga District on Saturday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the Forces including 1 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF blocked all the entry and exit points to the Redwani area. A massive cordon and search operation was launched by forces following a specific input about Militant presence in the area. October 26 Hundreds of locals including women on Friday afternoon hit the streets of Redwani locality in Quimoh belt of South Kashmir's Kulgam amid pro Independence slogans demanding the removal of Army camp recently established in the locality. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that scores of men and women on Friday came out on the streets shouting pro independence and Anti India slogans to demand the removal of an Army camp of 1RR of Indian Army recently set up in Redwani Bala. One More Injured Civilian Succumbs, Death toll 9

October 21 One more person injured during the Kulgam Gunfight has succumbed to his injuries taking the death toll to 9 which includes three Militants and six civilians. The civilian who was admitted in SKIMS succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. He was shifted from SMHS hospital to SKIMS for specialized treatment given his grave injuries. The identity of the slain has not been confirmed as of yet. Earlier, five civilians were killed post a gunfight in Kulgam that resulted in killing of three militants and injuries to two Government Force personnel.

October 21 A civilian has been killed and many injured in a blast at the Gunfight site at Laroo area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. Earlier, three militants were killed in a gunfight that erupted between Militants and Government Forces early morning on Sunday Sources told The Kashmiriyat that as soon the gunfight ended and Government forces withdrew from the area, local residents thronged the encounter site. They said people were sprinkling water on the debris of the house when an explosive device went up. "One Civilian has been killed and dozens are injured," an eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat. He said that the injured people have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a civilian whose identity has been initially reported as Ubaid Ahmed Laway was hit by a bullet during the clashes that erupted near the site of encounter in Laroo.
