September 15 Three Militants have been killed in the ongoing gunfight at Matipora Czogam area of Qazigund area of South Kashmir's Kulgam early morning on Saturday. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 9RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched a CASO in the area late night on Friday. During the CASO the holed up Militants opened fire, triggering a gunfight after which reinforcements were rushed to the spot. The Militants were holed up inside the residential house of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie near to Government Primary school in Czogam area of South Kashmir. September 15 An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in Chowgam of Qazigund area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 9 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation. September 12 A Man named Sabzar Ahmed was arrested after Police found him sexually assaulting a girl inside his shop in Bongam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the a local reported to the Kulgam Police station that a girl was being sexually assaulted inside a tailor shop, the police took swift action and raided the spot. September 11 A 'Bharat Darshan Tour' Programme was organized by District Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP) for  49 students from different parts of district Islamabad (Anantnag), The tour was flagged off today from DPL Islamabad (Anantnag). The Tour was flagged off by DIG South Kashmir, Amit Kumar (IPS) and SSP Islamabad (Anantnag)  Altaf Ahmad Khan. September 07 Nocturnal raids were conducted in Ghat area of Redwani in Quimoh belt of South Kashmir's Kulgam district late night on Thursday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that forces entered the Redwani and Rehpora villages of Quimoh belt and arrested two youth during the raids conducted during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. One of the youth has been identified as Fayaz Donoo (setha) son of Bashir Donoo, a resident of Ghat area in Quimoh. September 06 The Government forces raided the Nanibugh Locality in Kulgam District of Kashmir and arrested two youths during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday . Locals told The Kashmiriyat that at least two youths have been arrested in the Nanibugh locality when forces raided the Village around 1130 in the night. September 04 A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Czader area of Quimoh belt in South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Tuesday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 9RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area. They said that following an input about Militant movement in the Czader area, the troops immediately rushed to the spot. Locals Meanwhile told The Kashmiriyat that the forces have blocked all the entry and exit points to the area and a massive search operation has started. Pertinently czader area of Kulgam is the region where Shakoor Ahmed Dar, the famous Militant commander was killed in a gunfight with forces on 24 June this year.

August 31 After the release of the father of Hizb commander, Riyaz Naikoo, Militants have released the kin of two Policemen from Kulgam. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Gowhar Ahmad Malik, brother of a Dy SP named Aijaz of Katpora in kulgam  and Sumair Salam son of ASI Salam Ahmad from Kulgam have been set free by the Militants. A total of eleven relatives of Jammu Kashmir Policemen were abducted by Militants following the arrest and the harassment of the families of Militants. A Police official confirmed that Riyaz Naikoo's father has been released from custody following which kin of two Policemen were set free by Militants.
