Spontaneous Shutdown in South Kashmir Areas to Mourn Kulgam Killings

October 21 A shutdown is being observed in Pulwama, Kulgam and  Islamabad (Anantnag)  areas of the southern district to mourn the killing of Militants and Civilians is Kulgam District earlier on Sunday. Search Lights Installed, Door to Door Search Operation Continues in Sopore Area

October  08 The Government forces laid down a Cordon and Search Operation in Jallalabad area of north Kashmir’s Sopore in District Baramulla on Monday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 22RR of Indian Army, SOG 0f JK Police and CRPF laid down the Search Operation jointly. “The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said. A door to door search operation has been launched in the area. Meanwhile the Cordon and Search Operation has been launched at Jallalabad area of north Kashmir's Sopore area and Government forces have also installed the lights in the area .

Shopkeeper who was kidnapped on Wednesday, found dead in Sopore

October  06 Sajad Hameed Body of the recently abducted person (Tawseef Ganie) from Unsoo village was on Saturday found in an orchard in Harwan area of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Tawseef Ganie son of Mohamad Afzal Ganie resident of Tujar was abducted from Unisoo village of Baramulla by suspected militants.  Officials Sources confirmed that the body of Tawseef has been recovered from the orchards.and “Slit throat body of Tawseef Ganie has been recovered,” Police sources confirmed. Tawseef was abducted on October 3 from his meat shop in Unsoo.

September 25 A gun-battle broke out between government forces and militants in Tujjer Shareef area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district late night on Monday. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a joint team of Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF cordoned Nowpora locality of Tujjer Shareef in Sopore last night and started a search operation. September 23 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in  Tralarea of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway. At Least 30 SPOs Resign from Police Jobs in Kashmir, Police Denies

September 22 There is panic after the killing of the three SPOs of the police in the Shopian district of south Kashmir. Nearly SPOs have announced their resignation after the incident. However, the police is refusing these resignations. Videos related to the resignation of SPO are becoming viral over social Media.
