June 22 Authorities today suspended mobile Internet services in Srinagar and Islamabad districts of the Valley and as a precautionary measure in the wake of the ongoing encounter in Sirigufwara area of South kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. June 22 Waris Shah Intense Clashes have erupted on Friday morning in the Main town area of Pulwama in South Kashmir. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth started throwing stones on a Local Police Post in the area. Shouting Pro Freedom and Pro Militancy Slogans the youth hit the streets as the news of a gunfight in Islamabad (Anantnag) district reached there. The troops chased away the protesting youth. They both were shifted to District hospital in Islamabad from where they have been referred to Srinagar for treatment, hospital officials told The Kashmiriyat. June 22 Four local Militants linked to Tehreek Up Mujahideen are believed to be trapped at the encounter site. Highly placed sources told The Kashmiriyat that four militants who are all locals have been engaged in a Gunfight with Government Forces. They identified the Militants as Adil, Majid, Khalid and Dawood. They told The Kashmiriyat that two of them are from shilpora and hidgam of Sirigufwara while one is from Srinagar.
