April 20 A Youth identified as Shabnam Rasool Wani son of Ghulam Rasool wani who was going for tuition in Parraypora died early morning on Friday. As Per Police Officials the youth a resident of Munar Yaripora was in class 11th and was residing in Hyderpora. "Today Morning the youth was complaining of health issues after which he was rushed to a hospital, but he died on the way," a Police official posted in Kulgam told The Kashmiriyat. It was being rumoured that the youth had been injured in clashes at Hyderpora Srinagar, however Police claimed that nothing as such had happened and he died a natural death.

Missing youth from Brari Angan has likely Joined Militants

April 20 (Image Used for Representation) A 23 Year old youth, Zahoor Ahmed Haji, a resident of Brari Angan in South Kashmir's Islamabad District has joined Militants. Zahoor was studying in a Darul uloom in Pinjoora area of South Kashmir's Shopian District, family sources told The Kashmiriyat. "He left home on Tuesday to visit his relatives in Fatehpora area of Islamabad and has been missing since then," a local of Brariangan told The Kashmiriyat. Weapon snatched in Pinjoora recovered

April 19 Jahangeer Ganie The weapon that had been snatched by unknown persons today in Pinjoora Shopian has been recovered, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. Unknown persons on Thursday had snatched a service rifle from a bank guard at Pinjora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. A group of unarmed unidentified persons overpowered the ATM guard and snatched his service rifle (12- bore). Police said that on the basis of accurate human & technical inputs the boys were identified. 167% Increase in Civilian Deaths in Kashmir

April 19 A Report release by Ministry of Home affairs has claimed that Civilian deaths in Jammu Kashmir rose by a staggering 167% last year compared to 2015. The army and state police has claimed that most of the civilian deaths happened due to their interference during counter-insurgency operations.
