Militants Escape After Brief Exchange of Fire

April 17 (Image Used For Representation) Militants have managed to escape after a brief exchange of fire in Tral area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. One Army Soldier was injured in the initial firing from Militants upon Government Forces. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the clashes are still going on and the Troopers in the area used aerial firing and Tear Smoke shells to disperse the protesters.

Clashes Erupt at the Encounter Site in Tral

April 17 Massive clashes erupted in Tral near the Encounter site in Seer Jageer of  Tral area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Local Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Scores of youth have hit the streets in Seer to disrupt the Anti Militancy Operation. The youth shouting Pro Islam, Pro Freedom and Pro Militancy slogans came out on the streets. The protesters were trying to march towards the encounter site, however the troops deployed in the area fired smoke shells to disperse the protesters. Heavy Firing was going on, two to three Militants are believed to be firing at Government Forces.
