The Coordination Committee Bemina has decided to increase the rates of graveyards in the locality. According to a press release, the meeting regarding this was held last month in which it was decided by the local committee to enhance graveyard rates in the locality. "In the context of the high market rates and overall inflation scenario, Coordination Committee Bemina Srinagar decided the enhance the rates for its graveyard near Anjum Masjid. The enhanced rates shall be applied from June 01, 2022," the press release said. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole on Thursday said that in view of respite in Covid-19 situation, Government of Saudi Arabia has allotted a Haj quota of around 6000, of which at least 5400 will be from Kashmir and remaining will be from Jammu and Ladakh regions. Twenty-seven militants including four infiltrators were killed in May this year. Joint Forces neutralized these militants in 15 gunfights across Kashmir Valley. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) informed that on the basis of drone activity observed in the area of Talli Hariya chak under police station Rajbag in district Kathua, an early morning search party of police was being regularly sent in the general area. "Today early morning, the search party observed a North Korea drone coming from the border side and fired at it," police said.
