Sajad Hameed The Jammu Kashmir Police in Budgam and army 2RR arrested a top Militant associate along with three other OGWs from Budran area of Magam in Budgam during a cordon and search operation. The Police identified the accused as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Ahmad Lone, Younis waza all residents of Budran and Nazir Ahmad sheikh who is a resident of Poshkar in khag area of this central Kashmir district. Late Night Encounter Rages in Kashmir’s Kulgam

An encounter has raged  between militants and Government forces at Yamrach area of in Yaripora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a team of 34 RR, jammu kashmir police and 18 BN of CRPF was fired upon by Militants in the Mohammad pora area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing. The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire triggering an encounter, Officials told The Kashmiriyat that two to three Militants are believed to be trapped at the site of the encounter, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on. May 28 Government forces on Tuesday morning launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Bongam of Karimabad  area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Reports reaching to The Kashmiriyat said that a joint team of Army 55 RR, and Special Operation Group (SOG) the area. A police Source Confirmed the incident and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the Movement of some suspected militants. Clashes have also erupted in the area between youth and the Government Forces. The searches operation was underway in the village when this report was last filed.

May 26 In his last video, Zakir Rashid Bhat alias Musa shot likely a few minutes ahead of the encounter that raged in Dadasara area of Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. In this video, which is clicked at the house in which Zakir Musa, India's most wanted Militant commander in Kashmir was killed after a fierce gunfight of 11 hours, the house was later burnt down to ashes. "I bid farewell to you all, now it is my time to die, i bid farewell to my nation, strikes surely are no way to end this conflict, but only fighting is," Zakir is heard saying this short video. The clip is doing rounds on social media and has already gone viral.

May 23 An encounter has broke out between Militants and Government Forces in Dadasra area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Officials confirming the encounter said that a joint team of Government forces including 42 RR and SOG launched search Operation in the area following credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area. May 03 Suhail Dar In a shocking incident, The father of a two year old boy has allegedly slit the throat of his son in the Lisser area of Kokernag in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. The mother of the two year old boy identified as Usman Gowhar speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Gowhar Ahmed Dar, the father of the child has slit his throat. May 01 Dismissed BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav’s nomination as the Samajwadi Party candidate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency was rejected on Wednesday, poll officials said. April 30 Government forces on Tuesday afternoon launched a Cordon and Search Operation at Kreeri area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district. Reports said that a joint team of 29 RR, 176 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operational Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police personnel cordoned off the Kreeri area.
