Unknown Gunmen kill Civilian in Pulwama

March 15 Unknown Gunmen on Thursday night shot dead a civilian at Gulzar pora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a civilian namely Manzoor Ahmad lone was abducted by unknown Gunmen from his residence in nearby Dogripora around 9 30 PM on Thursday. He was later shot at in Gulzar Pora village of the area, they said. The dead body has been recovered and  investigation has been launched into the incident, Police said

Early Morning CASO Launched in Pulwama Area

March 14 A cordon and search operation (CASO) has been launched by Government Forces in Maczpuna area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning, 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in the area around KCF College in Maczpuna. March 13 A cordon and search operation (CASO) has been launched by Government Forces in Panzgam area Litter in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday evening, 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in Panzgam area of Pulwama District. Civilian Shot Dead by Unknown Gunmen in Pulwama

March 13 Unknown gunmen on Wednesday shot dead a civilian in Pingel area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen shot dead a civilian in Pinglan area of Pulwama District. The injured man was rushed to nearby hospital, where he has been declared brought dead. He has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Naik, a resident of Pinglan in Pulwama Details emerging.

Another Pulwama Type Attack on Cards, Say Intelligence Agencies

March 11 Government forces have been alerted by intelligence agencies of another Pulwama-like attack in the Kashmir Valley, IndiaToday reported. According to the report intel agencies have also reported Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has been plotting a fresh suicide attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The intelligence warning has come almost a month after 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in a suicide attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The forces have been informed of these intercepts. The intel inputs also said that a Jaish commander has been training five to six militants to carry out more attacks in the Valley. March 11 The family of Myser Ahmed Khan, An alleged key conspirator of the Pulwama has been identified by his family after being Killed in the Tral encounter, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. According to Sources, Mudasir Khan alias Mohammad Bhai was recruited as an overground worker of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in 2017 and became a key Improvised Explosive Device (IED) handler in the days that followed.
