December 22 Four Militants have been reportedly killed n the ongoing encounter that raged between militants and Government forces at Arigam area of Arampora in Tral sub district of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat  that a joint team of 42 RR, SOG, Police and 180 BN of CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Arigam area on Saturday morning after receiving inputs about presence of some militants in the area. The Forces while conducting the search operation were fire upon by forces, which resulted in an encounter. December 21 Despite strict restrictions imposed in Pulwama, hundreds of people from Jamia Masjid of the District marched towards the district headquarters on Friday post congregational prayers. Locals from Pulwama told The Kashmiriyat that protests were held at Muran, Main town, Ruhmoo and many areas of South Kashmir districts including Shopian after Friday prayers. December 21 The Pulwama District of South Kashmir has shut down for the seventh consecutive amid a ban on Mobile internet services in this South Kashmir area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Coordination Committee in Pulwama has called for peaceful protest today after Friday prayers and asked people to march towards Sirnoo. The shutdown is being observed against the recent civilian killings where seven civilians were killed when Forces opened fire on protesters in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. December 20 On a call issued by Auqaf Committee in Pulwama, the Southern Kashmir District has shut for the sixth consecutive day against the killing of ten locals in Sirnoo area of Pulwama District on Saturday. Locals from Pulwama informed The Kashmiriyat that business establishments, educational institutes are shut in the area while Militant photographs have surfaced in many areas of the District. December 19 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in the main town area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the Killing of ten people including three Militants in the Pulwama District. December 19 The Pulwama District of Southern part has shut down for the fifth consecutive day to mourn the Killing of three Militants and Seven civilians in the Sirnoo area of South Kashmir on Saturday. The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are shut in the area on Wednesday for the fifth consecutive day. Hundreds of people are still visiting the houses of Slain Militants and civilians in the Pulwama District of South Kashmir. December 17 Militants on Monday night appeared in Karimabad, the native village of slain Hizb Militant and , Adnan Hizbi in Karimabad and fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to their slain colleague. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a group of  Militants appeared in the area shouting slogans in favour of Islam and Freedom at his native area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District.
