4 Militants Killed in Ongoing Tral Encounter

December 22 Four Militants have been reportedly killed n the ongoing encounter that raged between militants and Government forces at Arigam area of Arampora in Tral sub district of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat  that a joint team of 42 RR, SOG, Police and 180 BN of CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Arigam area on Saturday morning after receiving inputs about presence of some militants in the area. The Forces while conducting the search operation were fire upon by forces, which resulted in an encounter. December 22 An encounter has raged between militants and Government forces at Arigam area of Arampora in Tral sub district of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. December 21 The Pulwama District of South Kashmir has shut down for the seventh consecutive amid a ban on Mobile internet services in this South Kashmir area. December 19 The Pulwama District of Southern part has shut down for the fifth consecutive day to mourn the Killing of three Militants and Seven civilians in the Sirnoo area of South Kashmir on Saturday. The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are shut in the area on Wednesday for the fifth consecutive day. Hundreds of people are still visiting the houses of Slain Militants and civilians in the Pulwama District of South Kashmir. Militants Offer Gun Salute to Slain Colleague in Karimabad

December 17 Militants on Monday night appeared in Karimabad, the native village of slain Hizb Militant and , Adnan Hizbi in Karimabad and fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to their slain colleague. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a group of  Militants appeared in the area shouting slogans in favour of Islam and Freedom at his native area in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. They said that the Militants later offered Fateh Khawani to Adnan Hizbi after which they fired in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague.
