July 06 The preacher of a local mosque in Parigam area of South Kashmir's Pulwama was shot at by unidentified gunmen hours before his Friday sermon early morning today. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Mohammed Ashraf Thoker, an Imam of Masjid Hanfiya at Parigam Pulwama was shot at in his legs by the gunmen. Ashraf is a resident of Bijbehara and has been shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment. July 04 The Government Forces have been alleged of ransacking the properties of locals during a Cordon and Search Operation in the Ruhmoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the forces entered the house after the found nothing in the area when they conducted search operation in the area. They said that seven youth were arrested during the night raids. “They entered into the households and assaulted locals and broke everything they saw inside the houses," a local told The Kashmiriyat.
