Pakistan origin spouses of Kashmiri former militants on Tuesday yet again held a protest demonstration at Press Enclave in Srinagar, demanding travel documents so that they can visit their homes in Pakistan. The Pakistan origin wives, while raising slogans marched from the Press enclave towards the icon Ghanta Ghar in Lal Chowk. They said that they do not have any unique demand but they are demanding justice, however, the government is not able to give answers to their demands. “Either we are asking something wrong or the government is interpreting our demands wrongly. A prominent farmer leader from Jammu was taken into custody by the Delhi Police for his alleged involvement in the violence during farmers' tractor parade against the new agri laws in the national capital on Republic Day, officials said on Tuesday. An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) that was spotted early this morning on Pantha-Chowk-Nowgam road stretch in Srinagar was diffused successfully by the bomb disposal squad after which traffic was resumed on the road, officials said. Two policemen injured in a militant attack in Bhagat Barzulla area of Srinagar succumbed to their wounds here on Friday, officials told GNS. They said that one among the policemen, Sohail Ahmad, died at SMHS where he was admitted after shifted there in critical condition.
