Mubashir Naik One person was killed while two others were injured in a tragic road accident in the Dhara area of Doda in Chenab Valley on Wednesday afternoon. An official told The Kasmiriyat that one Maruti car on its way from Doda towards Dhara met with an accident after the vehicle rolled down from the road at about 200 metres, resulting in the on-spot death of one person namely Zaheer Ahmad Son son of Sair Ahmad Resident of Dara area in Doda, Aged 17 yrs while as two persons got seriously injured. The injured were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Son of Abdul Rehman aged 23 and Saleem Jan son of Mohd shafi R/o do age 22years. Both have been Shifted to GMC Doda for Treatment

3 Militants Killed, 4 Army men Injured on LoC

Three militants were reportedly killed and four army soldiers injured overnight on the line of control (LoC) in Jammu district where the army foiled an infiltration bid, officials said on Wednesday. Defence sources said Pakistan Army started heavy shelling in Khour area of LoC's Akhnoor sector on Tuesday evening to facilitate infiltration of militants. "Four army soldiers were injured in Pakistani shelling and three militants were killed in Indian retaliatory action while the infiltration bid was foiled. "The bodies of the slain militants are lying on Pakistan side of the LoC and these have not been so far picked up by Pakistani troops," a source said. (IANS)

He said that the duo was working under a plot hatched by Kashmir based Militants and their Pak based JeM handler Aqib @ Alfa from Budgam The weapons recovered from their possession include 2 AK-74s  Pistol 01, Grenades 16, Ak-Magazines = 09, Live Bullets = 269 Pistol and Magazine = 02.
