September 04 Rayees Shah A woman who was critically wounded on Monday after a falling tree branch fell down on her, succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday. September 04 Government forces on Tuesday launched a major search operation in Langer village located close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera area of Rajouri district of Jammu Kashmir. A police official said that the students of a local school reported that they saw some suspects roaming in maize fields after which local villagers reported the matter to the police. September 04 The District magistrate of Srinagar, Syed Abid Shah has ordered that CCTV Cameras be installed in all important places of worship in the Srinagar City. The Order copy to Jammu Kashmir Muslim Wakf board instructs them to ensure installation of CCTV cameras in and around the prominent shrines, mosques and temples in the district. September 04 Shabir Khan A women identified as Aisha begum died due to electrocution on Tuesday in Khawaja bagh are of North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the lady was repairing an electric wire when she was electrocuted after which she was rushed to the hospital. Upon reaching the hospital, the doctors declared her 'brought dead.' Aisha Begum of Khawaja Bagh Baramulla is third person to have died of electrocution in North Kashmir since Monday evening.

September 04 On 24.08.2018, Police Station Boniyar, Uri received a written complaint from one Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai R/O Lari, Trikanjan, Uri about missing of her 09 years old daughter on previous day, whom he feared might have been abducted. On receipt of this complaint, case FIR No. 43/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered in P/S Boniyar and investigation was taken up. September 04 The Jammu Narcotics Control Bureau Tuesday claimed to have foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of heroin and arrested four people in this connection. It recovered over 22 kg heroin and Rs 17 lakh cash form them. Three Kashmiri residents were arrested here for smuggling heroin worth Rs 100 cr from Handwara town in the state to Punjab. The person who was to receive the contraband was also nabbed from the neighbouring state, Virender Yadav, the zonal director of the Jammu NCB, told reporters. September 03 Following a massive cordon and search operation in Pulwama of South Kashmir, the Railway authorities have suspended train services from Banihal to Srinagar. "Following the volatile situation in South Kashmir areas, the train services have been suspended as a precautionary measure," officials told The Kashmiriyat. Massive clashes have erupted in Pulwama of South Kashmir after Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation in at least 18 villages. One youth has also been killed in the ongoing clashes.
