Video Journalists Saturday alleged that they were beaten up by an army soldier during Jashn-e-Baramulla event organised in North Kashmir's Baramulla district by Chinar Corps of Indian Army to promote talent of the youth of Kashmir. A partial shutdown is being observed in the old town area of Sopore against the killing of a local youth who had joined Militancy during an encounter in Baramulla district on Thursday. Locals from Sopore told The Kashmiriyat that the shops and business establishments in old town of Sopore in shut in protest against the killing of Amir Siraj, who was a local resident. Amir, a resident of Sopore had gone missing in June this year after which he had joined the militant outfit Jaish e Muhammad. Amir was a known footballer from his area. The Airport authority has said that this new terminal will be equipped with modern technology which wil also have storage rooms equipped with modern technology for food items including fruits, vegetables and mutton.
