Mir Junaid The dead body of a female was found lying under mysterious circumstances at Takanwari area in the Eid Gah locality of Srinagar district. An official said that the body of a non-local labourer identified as Amrita Lohar, a resident Bhutan was found lying under mysterious conditions at Srinagar's Eid Gah area. The body was found at the house of a local resident, Hazullah Dar on Tuesday afternoon, as per the official. The Jammu Kashmir Police has registered a case in this regard and further investigations have been taken up.

The Government Forces on Tuesday afternoon launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Bomai area of Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched jointly by forces including 22 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Sopore area.
