Bullet Riddled Body Found in Pulwama, Elderly Couple Electrocuted in Poonch

August 13 The body of a 24-year-old youth identified as Gulzar Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Gani Bhat was recovered in South Kashmir's Pulwama district early morning on Monday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Gulzar's bullet riddled body was found by the locals lying in a pool of blood in an Apple orchard at Bunpora in Muran area, who later informed the Police. August 12 In the corner of his three storey house, Nazir Ahmed Khan welcomes people who visit him as his son Tariq has recently joined Militancy. Youth Injured in Tosa Maidan Blast Succumbs

August 12 A youth identified as Wajid Ahmed Ahanger who was injured in the Tosa Maidan mysterious blast has succumbed to his injuries at JVC SKIMS in Srinagar. Four more youth were injured in the blast on Sunday morning and later shifted to SDH in Khag area of Budgam while the rest of the three were shifted to Srinagar for treatment. Wajid who had suffered multiple splinter injuries has succumbed to his injuries. Two of the injured have been identified as Wasim Ahmad Ganai aged 21 and Mudassir Ahmad Ganai, aged 20 both residents of Zwugu in Budgam.

August 12 Police on Sunday claimed to have solved a blind murder case by arresting the accused persons involved in the crime. A police spokesman said that on 27th of June 2018, Police at Chrar-i-Sharief received a complaint from Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Watkulu about missing of his son Samir Ahmad Dar from 24th of June 2018. Accordingly a missing report was lodged in Police Station Char-i-Sharief and investigation was started. On 10th of July 2018, body of the said missing person was found in irrigation Dam at Yousmarg. On the basis of evidence, a case FIR number 43/2018 under section 302 RPC was registered and investigation was initiated. Stone Throwing Clashes in Batamaloo

August 12 Stone throwing clashes began in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Sunday morning when scores of youth started throwing stones on Government Forces in the area. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that youth in large numbers shouting pro Militancy and pro Freedom slogans threw stones on troops deployed in the area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Earlier Government Forces had laid a siege around Deyarwani area of locality around 3 am and at approximately 4 Am, they came under massive gunfire from Militants. August 12 An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Deyarwani area of Batamaloo locality  in Srinagar early morning on Sunday. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that CRPF, Jammu Kashmir Police and jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation. The Encounter started when Army was fired upon by a group of Militants near the Unani Hospital in the Deyarwani area.
