The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered a case in connection with the encounter in Nagrota in Jammu Kashmir. The officials of Pakistan High Commission officials were summoned by the Ministry of External Affairs on 21 November regarding this incident. On November 19 in Nagrota, Jammu Kashmir, Government forces killed four Militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed during the encounter, the four Militants were said to be from Pakistan. Polling on For Phase 3 of DDC Elections- 8.33 Percent Polling by 9 AM

On Friday, Voting is being held in 33 seats for the third phase of the District Development Council (DDC) election in Jammu Kashmir. Out of these, 16 seats are in Kashmir and 17 seats are in the Jammu division. In this phase, voters will use their voting power to decide the future of 305 candidates. A total of 305 candidates are in the fray for this phase, which includes 53 female candidates. Pertinently, the first phase elections were held on 28 November, in which 51.76 people exercised their franchise. The second phase of elections were held on 1 December, with 49 per cent of the voters casting their votes.
