Clashes Erupt During CASO in the Native of Famous Kashmiri Poet Mehjoor

July 02 Massive Clashes erupted during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Mitrigam area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in area on Tuesday evening. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid down the Search operation jointly. "The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area," Sources said. 105 Militants Killed So Far in 2018

July 02 As of 30 June 2018, a total of 105 militants and 21 Government Force personnel have been killed in Kashmir this year, as per figures available to The Kashmiriyat. A unilateral ceasefire was declared by the Indian Government on 14 May when the Government forces were asked not to launch operations during Ramadan, during that month 24 Militants were killed. June 29 Sanam Lotus, the head of MeT Department Jammu Kashmir has said that the weather is likely to improve from tomorrow in the Kashmir valley.
