April 05 Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday morning visited Kangan and consoled the family of Gawhar Rather who was killed by the cops on Tuesday. April 02 The Government forces today indiscriminate firing upon protesters inside the district hospital in Shopian township after clashes erupted in the south Kashmir area. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that after the funeral of the local militant, Zubair Ahmed Turray killed in an encounter, the forces fired tear smoke shells toward people. "Clashes spread to all nearby areas and the forces soon entered the hospital to retrieve the dead body of the slain militant Zubair Turray," they said.
