Unknown Gunmen fire at Civilian in Sopore

May 28 Shabir Khan Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening shot a civilian in Zaloora area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen injured a civilian by firing at him in Sopore area. The injured man was rushed to SDH Handwara where he is being treated. Hospitak officials confirmed his identity as Feroz Ahmed Gojri, a resident of Zaloora in Sopore. The forces immediately reached the spot and laid a siege around the area. Details emerging.

May 28 Days after the killing of Zakir Musa, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Chief, the group has appointed Hameed Lelhari as its head. Sources informed The Kashmiryat that Lelhari who has joined Militancy in 2015 is a resident of Lelhar area of Kakapora in Pulwama. Hameed was the deputy of Musa after Soliha Mohammed Akhoon who was killed in an encounter in November 2018 in Aripal area of Tral. The medical report of a three-year-old girl, who was alleged to have been raped in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, has found insufficient evidence to confirm sexual assault, officials said today. May 28 A Muslim youth was told to go to Pakistan and shot at in Begusarai district of Bihar. Police, however, claimed that Mohammad Qasim, a vendor who goes around on his two-wheeler selling household goods in the rural areas, was shot at on Saturday because of a dispute over payment for his wares. Qasim, being treated at a hospital in Begusarai, said he knew his attacker. “I was at Kumbi (village) in front of a paan shop. A man named Rajiv Yadav shot me. He asked my name. May 26 Faisal Bashir Locals of Dharmuna in Budgam district on Sunday held a protest demonstration against the arrest of seven teenage boys by Government Forces during a protest against the killing of Zakir Musa on Thursday. Four of them who were minors have been released by the Indian Army, while two of them have been tortured inside the custody by Army, the family alleged. "Two of the arrested youth have been let off in injured condition by army," adding that one of them has been shifted to SKIMS and the other one has been shifted to JVC Bemina for treatment.
