May 23 The Government Forces on Thursday afternoon launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Gusoo area of Pulwama in South Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched jointly by forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Pulwama's Gusoo area All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Thursday afternoon. May 06 Amid clashes and a low voter turnout in the South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday, seven areas of Kulgam district witnessed zero percent polling, as per The Kashmiriyat correspondent. The Kakpora, Bal Ashram, Patalbagh, Samboora areas of Pulwama district witnessed a almost zero percent polling out of a total of 12858 total voters. May 06 298 out of 87684 total votes have been polled in the Shopian assembly segment of Anantnag Lok Sabha while 242 votes have been polled in the Wachi asesembly segment of the district till 9 AM 83,532. Jaish Militant from Pulwama has Surrendered, Says Police

May 05 A Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant, hailing from Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, Sunday laid down arms and returned to the mainstream, police said. A police spokesman did not reveal the identity of the militant, saying “the identity stands protected . “One more youth from Pulwama, who was part of terror outfit JeM, has shunned the path of violence and returned to mainstream with efforts of his family and police, the spokesman said. Shutdown in Pulwama, Shopian to Mourn Militant Killings

May 04 Shutdown is being observed in Pulwama and Shopian districts following killing of three militants in a gunfight with government forces on Friday. Reports said that all the shops and other business establishments are shut in the two districts while public transport is off the roads.
