July 13 At least six persons including two children were injured in an accident at kandizal area of Pampore on Friday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the accident took place on National highway near new bypass between Maruti Alto 800 and bullet proof bunker of 183 bn CRPF. They added that injured persons were shifted to sub district hospital Pampore where there condition is said to be stable.

July 11 Intense Stone throwing clashes erupted in Pandan area of Soura in Srinagar as hundreds of youth hit the streets. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth shouting slogans against civilian killings appeared on the roads and the forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells on them. The youth in retaliation threw stones on them and tried to chase them away, however the youth regrouped in large numbers and continued the stone throwing. The Government Forces allegedly set ablaze the carts of fruit vendors and vegetable sellers along with stock in Soura area, Locals alleged. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that protesters later arrived at the spot and tried their best to doze off the fire. The clashes were going on when this report was filed.

July 11 The Government Forces on Saturday fired a tear gas shell inside the residence of Fahad Shah in Srinagar. He is the editor of The Kashmir Walla – an online news magazine – and writes for various international newspapers and magazines. “The shell hit the window, falling straight on the floor of the room, where we sit. It burnt the flooring of the room which could have led to burning down of the entire house,” says Shah’s family member. July 10 Two Militants reportedly have been killed in the ongoing gunfight with Government Forces at Kundalan area of South Kashmir's Shopian District. Intermittent firing is going on at Kundalan area of Shopian District in South Kashmir between Militants and Government forces where an encounter raged early morning on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that three Militants are believed to be trapped at the encounter site including a Militant whose father died of a cardiac arrest. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 34 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police are jointly conducting the operation.
