September 21 An important meeting of Ummat e Islami was called today by its vice chairman Mir Muntazir Gul in South Kashmir's Islamabad town. September 20 A gunfight broke out between militants and Government forces in North Kashmir's Bandipora village on Thursday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 14 RR of India Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Shukbabun area of Sumlar village of Bandipora. September 20 Nocturnal raids were conducted in Saidpora Bala area of South Kashmir's Shopian district late night on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that forces entered the Saidpora locality arrested two youth during the raids conducted during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. September 20 The Government Forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation in the Shokbaba area of Sumlar in North Kashmir's Bandipora District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces including RR of Indian Army, and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Sumlar area.
