A Srinagar Court has dismissed the petition of a woman who accused her husband and in-laws of domestic violence. After hearing counsels for petitioner and respondent, the Court of Second Additional Munsiff Srinagar presided over by Ahtizaz Ahmed said that all witnesses of petitioner are interested witnesses. “There are few contradictions in the witnesses of the petitioners. A fire broke out near Gandhi College in the Baba Dem area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday morning. Eyewitnesses said that the fire initially started from a residential house and soon engulfed a local mosque. Democratic Progressive Azad Party President Ghulam Nabi Azad clarified his party's stance on the north Kashmir Parliamentary Constituency, stating that his leaders see Engineer Rashid as the best choice and he didn't stop them from supporting him. The government forces on Thursday engaged a group of militants in a gunfight after they made an attempt to sneak into this side from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district officials said.
