A tragedy has struck Pernote village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district where 74 families were forced to leave their belongings and homes on the mercy of God without knowing what will happen to them in the near future. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon, a residential house collapsed in the Bujthalan Boniyar area of north Kashmir area burying alive the inmates. They said that the inmates were rescued by the teams of Jammu Kashmir Police and the admin, who immediately rushed to the spot. Two houses were damaged and a teenager died after landslide hit the Karool area of Jammu Kashmir’s Ramban district on Monday. Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that due to incessant rains, landslide occurred in Karool hamlet of Ramban district resulting in the damage of two residential houses. They said a 13-year-old boy was also hit by the landslide leading to his death.
