Two prominent clerics from the Kashmir valley were arrested on Thursday and shifted to Jammu, families of the duo said on Thursday. Official sources confirming the development to The Kashmiriyat said that Maulana Abdul Rashid Dawoodi and Moulana Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri, both residents of Anantnag have been shifted to Jammu after being arrested today morning. Strange it may sound but it is a bitter reality that a New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) Wachi in Shopian is run by a Female Multi Purpose Health worker (FMPHW). Locals from Wachi told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the sub-centre in the area was upgraded to NTPHC a few years ago and a new building was inaugurated in January 2020. Police on Wednesday identified both the militants who were killed in a gunfight at Nowgam area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district.
