Security tightened across Kashmir ahead of August 15
Ahead of the India's 75th Independence Day, Security has been tightened across the Kashmir valley and random frisking is being carried out too in city square of Srinagar along with other main towns of the valley.
Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat said that Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) deployment has been beefed up in Kashmir to thwart any law and order situation and ensure smooth Independence Day celebrations scheduled on Monday (15 August).
A multi-layer security arrangement with both aerial and ground surveillance has also been put in place across the region to thwart any untoward incident during Independence Day celebrations.
